The staff at Beaumont Community Pre-school are all highly qualified, experienced and parents themselves. The long-standing staff members have been working in Beaumont Community Pre-school for many years.  All our staff members have children of their own, thoroughly enjoy working with children, and are Garda vetted every three years.

Our Staff Qualifications Include:

• FETAC Level 5 in Childcare
• Children First – HSE Child Protection
• Paediatric First Aid
• Fire Safety
• Manual Handling
• HACCP Food Safety

In addition to this our Managers and Teamleader combined have the additional qualifications:

• Bachelor of Arts (honours) in Early Childhood Care and Education
• FETAC Level 6 – Supervision in Childcare
• High/Scope
• Síolta – National Quality Framework Guidelines
• Health and Safety
• First Aid Responder

Staff Ratios and Absence Cover

Beaumont Pre-school will ensure that there is always staff cover and that the service is maintained according to the child/staff ratios as set down by the Child Care (Early Years Services) Regulations 2016 (Adult/Child Ratio 1:11 ).  Relief staff are Garda Vetted and our suitable personnel can be contacted at times of emergency.  The service will not operate if the appropriate number of staff is not available.
