Experienced care you can trust
Established in 1993, Beaumont Community Pre-school is situated on the campus of St. Fiachra’s National School. We have close links with St Fiachra’s National school, enabling staff at Beaumont Community Pre-School to work with your child to help them learn and develop in preparation for the next step of their education when they are ready to start primary school.
With children from age 2 years and 6 months to start welcome, the aim of Beaumont Community Pre-School is to provide a safe and happy learning environment where your child will make new friends, and develop their social emotional, physical and intellectual skills.
We will work with you to ensure your child’s culture, positive self-esteem, sense of identity and individuality is maintained and celebrated. You will receive regular communication on your child’s progress throughout the pre-school year and at the end of the year, on Graduation you will receive a memento journal made up of photographs and art that your child has worked on in Beaumont Pre-school.
The service provides three pre-school sessions daily; two in the morning and one in the afternoon. While many children qualify for the free pre-school year in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Programme, for those who do not qualify the fee-paying places are very reasonable at €56 per week Monday – Thursday. The pre-school operating times are;
8.35am – 11.35am Morning Session
11.50am – 2.50pm Afternoon Session
Our long-standing experienced staff members have been employed with Beaumont Community Pre-school for many years. All of our staff members are parents and thoroughly enjoy working with children.
We have a long history of working together with St. Fiachra’s National School, and The Beaumont Community Pre-school board of directors has always been made up of a combination of St. Fiachra’s National School principals as well as parents of children who have attended the pre-school. As it services the Dublin 9, Dublin 5 areas and beyond, many of our children, particularly those living in Beaumont and Artane, go on to primary school in St. Fiachra’s National School.
As we are a community based organisation, Beaumont Community Pre-school is a not-for-profit organisation, which means that all profits are re-invested into the development of the pre-school ensuring quality facilities and policies designed for the benefit of the community rather than profit.
